GUILLERMO S. MAGLAYA III obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from the University of Santo Tomas in 2015, and his Juris Doctor Degree from Arellano University School of Law in 2021. He was admitted to the Bar in 2022.

 

During his law school years, Mr. Maglaya was a member of the National Union of Peoples’ Lawyers, where he assisted in the handling of human rights cases involving members of the marginalized sectors. His work included interviewing victims of human rights violations, conducting legal research, and drafting pleadings.

 

At Tan Concepción & Que, Mr. Maglaya’s responsibilities include litigation, corporate secretaryship, general retainer services, and special projects.

MARIANNE A. CASTRO
Associate

MARIANNE A. CASTRO earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Travel Management from the University of Santo Tomas in 2014. She gained experience working for a Global Distribution System company before transitioning to the field of law. She completed her Juris Doctor degree likewise from UST in 2022.

As a law student, she served as a member, Circulations Manager, and Managing Editor for the UST Law Review, where she mainly managed the administrative and financial matters for the organization. She occasionally assisted the Jurisprudence team in digesting and proofreading cases for the ULR Compendium.

She passed the Bar in 2023 and officially signed the Roll of Attorneys on 02 May 2023.

As a member of the legal team at Tan Concepcion & Que, her responsibilities include conducting legal research involving various issues, drafting demand letters, and providing legal services concerning general retainer work, special projects, and litigation.

She offers legal assistance in criminal cases like unjust vexation and in civil cases, such as collection, expropriation, claims for damages, annulment of judgment, rescission of contract, and rehabilitation.

She also handles the processing of documents in extra-judicial settlement of estate, trademark registration, and liquidation claims.

ANGELICA V. MALAPAJO earned her Business Administration degree in 2019 and her Juris Doctor degree in 2023 from San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila (SSCR).

In SSCR, Angelica served as a Jurisprudential Analyst in the College of Law Dean's Office from 2020 to 2021. She was included in the Dean's List in her Sophomore year, and assisted in handling civil and labor cases as a Law Student Practitioner in the Sebastinian Office of Legal Aid. She was admitted to the Bar in 2023.

At Tan Concepcion & Que, she handles legal research, litigation, corporate secretaryship, general retainer work, and special projects.

PATRICIA MAE H. CABAÑA obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 2023, and her Bachelor of Science (in Legal Management) degree, Cum Laude, from the Ateneo de Naga University. She was admitted to the Bar in 2023.

In UST, Patricia was a four-time Dean’s Lister (2019-2022). She was an active participant in the UST Bar Operations-Academics Committee (2021-2022), and served as AVP for Debate in the UST Law Debate & Moot Society (2020-2021).

At Tan Concepcion & Que, Patricia handles legal research, litigation, corporate secretaryship, general retainer work, and special projects.
